"I’ve spent a great deal of time in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and in back country of other states for over 50 years, I attempt to capture those images that depict the 'Art' in nature.

I believe I have an eye for seeing things others overlook. The image, ‘Frozen Dreams #4’, is an example. Shot from 12 inches above the ice of a frozen lake, it depicts abstractions that can only be seen if you are on your hands and knees."

We are pleased to announce the final ArtWalk of 2010 on September 17.

ArtWalk is:

A free evening of art exhibitions, music, live theatre, dance and children’s activities. The ArtWalk event transforms downtown Longmont businesses into galleries and promotes cultural arts for three fabulous evenings each year.

Come view the winners of the 4th Annual Art Through the Lens photo contest during the September 17 ArtWalk. The winner's circle will be on display at 7 West Pizzeria, 526 Main, and will feature the winning photos from the top professional and amatuer entries.

Art for the Palate, Saturday, October 9

Join ArtLink for Art for the Palate, a fundraising event with wine and food parings featuring flavors of the Mediterranean crafted by Restaurateur Steve Carlson.

Saturday, October 9 from 6 to 9 PM at Sun Rose Café. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. In addition to small plates and wine pairings, there will be a small silent auction of art featuring artists including painter Carolyn Bradley and photographer Debbie Adams.
