“My hope is that the work evokes introspection and reflection,” says Camille Rendal who works both with realism, and abstraction. “Abstraction is collaboration between artist and viewer through the sharing of ideas; it encourages a dialogue that I find enriching. I enjoy that many of my works are not locked into a single interpretation.” Camille works in a variety of media: sculpture, jewelry and metalsmithing, mixed media and painting.
Camille has been a professional artist for 30 years. Her fine art is in major corporate collections (e.g. Merrill-Lynch, Universal Studios, Hilton); she has shown nationally and internationally for many years and is represented by agents and galleries in Los Angeles and New Mexico. |
Camille Rendal is the head of the Art Department at Front Range Community College, Longmont campus. She enjoys giving back to the community and inspiring others to find their creative voices.
